On Labor Day Synod Executive, Luis Perez and RCA General Secretary, Tom DeVries, visited some of the churches in the synod that suffered flooding and damage from Hurricane Irene. They also visited a church that is leading relief efforts in their community. Laura DeVries, former RCA Director of Development and Tom's wife traveled with them and documented their visits.

Our prayers go out to the many churches, church families, and all others who have been affected by flooding, power outages, downed trees and the like from hurricane Irene.

The Synod Annual Meeting was held on May 7, 2011 at the Middlebush Reformed Church.

Annual worship service and luncheon co-sponsored by the Synod, NBTS and the Board of Benefits Services for retired RCA pastors, their spouses and surviving spouses.

Over 70 people attended the retirement celebration for the Rev. Frederick Mold, Jr. on Friday, January 14th. The program included people who shared stories of how Fred had affected their lives and ministries which ranged from touching to extremely funny. A good time was had by all!
